SYSTEM FOR PAPER MACHINES FOR DEPOSIT CONTROL AND OPTIMIZED MACHINE HYGIENE

Our comprehensive hygiene system for your production process: PETROGUARD®

Deposits in the machine circuit impair runnability of the paper machine and the quality of the end product.

The type and composition of deposits and the resulting effects on paper quality depend very much on the properties of the white water circuit, the individual paper production conditions and the microbiological activity in the machine circuit.

Our clever multi-component system PETROGUARD® for deposit control and optimized machine hygiene treats the whole process and reliably prevents system-related microbiological, organic and inorganic deposits in the machine circuit

Optimized machine hygiene reduces process costs, improves machine runnability and thus makes a decisive contribution to maintaining your competitiveness.

Process additives of PETROGUARD® System

Depending on the treatment focus in your machine, several components are individually combined and used:

PETROSID®: Preservatives and biocides
PETROOXID©: Oxidative biocides & redox-booster
PETROCLEAN® und BruClean©: Cleaning and passivation agents
PETRODIS©: Biodispersants
PETROSPERSE®: Inhibitors and stabilizers
FIBREDIS®: Resin dispersant especially for pulp industry
Brupass®: Passivation agent for Inox-surfaces

Before any successful slime control and deposit control, the machine must be professionally cleaned and conditioned with

customized acidic & alkaline special cleaners for standstill cleaning (boil out)
acidic & alkaline foam cleaners for the surface treatment of aggregates
chemical surface sealing and passivation by our partner bru-serv Industrie Service Brunner KG for stable machine hygiene and optimally protected surfaces

Products used:
PETROCLEAN®BruClean©Brupass©

To prevent microbiologically caused deposits in the machine circuit, microbiological activity must be controlled. Shock dosing with biocides only prevents the proliferation of bacteria in the short term; insufficient biocide dosing triggers a break in the biological balance and leads to the formation of problematic deposits.

For slime control and preservation, we treat fresh, circulating and cooling water, raw and auxiliary materials, slurries etc. with several components in order to achieve sustainably stable machine hygiene.

FIBREDIS® for the stable and reliable dispersion of resin particles in the production of sulphite and sulphate pulp acts triple as a:

Dispersing agent for resin and fatty acids
Complexing agent for the prevention of metal soap formation
 Protective colloid against reagglomeration

CONVINCING ADVANTAGES WITH PETROGUARD®

PETROGUARD® stabilizes the pH value and the system water hardness and thus helps to optimize the quantities of other additives used and to sustainably reduce system-related deposits in the cycle.

PETROGUARD® extends the storage and service life of media in containers without any loss of quality.

PETROGUARD® significantly reduces the need for biocides by improving machine hygiene and greatly reducing bacterial counts, thus making a valuable contribution to the ecological performance of the system.
